ISAs Explained

An Individual Savings Account (ISA) allows you to earn tax-free interest on your savings – a highly efficient way to make your money work harder. At The Stafford Building Society, we provide ISA options designed specifically with our local savers in mind, offering simple, clear choices to suit different savings styles.

Our Cash ISA offers quick access to your money, giving you flexibility without losing the tax-free benefit. For savers who can plan ahead and want a more rewarding return, our Notice ISA offers a higher interest rate in exchange for a 45-day notice period before you withdraw. It’s a great option for those seeking better rates while still maintaining some access to their funds.

If you’re saving for a child, our Junior ISA allows you to build a tax-free savings pot of up to £9,000 per year – a strong foundation for their financial future. Meanwhile, adults can contribute up to £20,000 across their ISA accounts in the 2025/26 tax year, helping to grow long-term savings efficiently.

Every ISA we offer is underpinned by clarity, accessibility, and our deep commitment to the Staffordshire community. Whether you’re new to saving or looking to maximise your tax-free allowance, we offer practical options and straightforward support.
