Community Support Savings Accounts Explained
Our Affinity Savings Accounts are designed for individuals who want their savings to reflect their values. Alongside earning interest, your account enables you to support a specific charity or community group, with an annual donation made by us based on the balance held in that account.
With instant access to your funds and the assurance of knowing your savings are contributing to causes you care about, these accounts combine socially responsible principles with practical benefits — a clear choice for those looking for savings with a conscious in Staffordshire and across the UK.

Why Choose The Stafford Building Society for Your Savings?

FAQs – Affinity Savings Accounts at The Stafford
What is an Affinity Savings Account?
An Affinity Savings Account is a type of easy access savings account that lets you save while supporting a chosen charity, club or community organisation. You still earn interest on your money, and The Stafford Building Society makes a donation to the organisation linked to your account, at no extra cost to you.
What’s the difference between our other savings and Affinity savings?
Affinity Accounts work in a similar way to our other easy access savings accounts, but they also provide a community benefit. You still earn interest on your savings, and The Stafford Building Society makes a donation to the charity, club or community organisation linked to your chosen Affinity Account. This means you can save as normal while helping support a cause connected to the account, at no extra cost to you. View all our savings accounts here
