The annual Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church in Stafford begins today, and we’re proud to be taking part once again.

What began as a local festive tradition has grown into a meaningful celebration of Stafford’s community spirit. It’s a time to come together, reflect, and recognise the importance of supporting one another, especially during the festive season.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community support in Staffordshire, we’ve not only decorated our own tree this year but also proudly sponsored two additional trees on behalf of our charity partners: A Child of Mine and Age UK Stafford & District. Both charities provide vital support to local families and people across the Staffordshire community.

In keeping with our values of sustainability and long-term impact, all trees at this year’s festival are potted, not cut. This helps reduce waste and promote greener celebrations.

The trees will be on display at St Mary’s Church in Stafford until Tuesday 9 December. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience the warmth of the season while supporting organisations that make a real difference in our local area.

From 10 December, our own decorated tree will also be on display at our Market Square branch in Stafford. We’d love to welcome you in.

Being part of the Christmas Tree Festival is just one of the many ways we continue to support our community here in Stafford. As a local organisation committed to Staffordshire community savings and meaningful local partnerships, we’re proud to stand alongside the people and causes that make this town so special.
