At The Stafford Building Society, we’re proud to support local charities that matter to our members and community. On Monday, we welcomed Gayle Routledge, founder of A Child of Mine, to our Stafford branch to collect donations raised by our team and members.

Over the past few weeks, staff across the Society have been gathering raffle and tombola prizes, including board games, craft kits, spa gifts, and cuddly toys, to help raise money for this Staffordshire-based charity. Our members also donated £43.47 through our change tins in branch. Every contribution helps and we thank everyone who took part.

A Child of Mine provides emotional and practical support to families across the UK who have experienced the loss of a child. Their work includes one-to-one sessions, peer support groups, sibling services, creative therapy, and small grants. The charity also works closely with hospitals and bereavement panels to improve care standards nationally.

As Stafford’s local building society, owned by our members, we are committed to supporting causes that matter to our community. This is just one small way we are giving back.
