At The Stafford Building Society, community isn’t just a word; it’s a commitment we work by. That’s why we were proud to support this year’s Pensioners’ Summer Lunch, a heart-warming event hosted on the 16th May 2025 by the Rotary Club of Stafford Knot at Stafford Rugby Club.
The afternoon welcomed 67 guests from local care homes and housing communities, offering a wonderful opportunity to connect over live music, hearty food and friendly conversation. The event served as a much-needed boost, especially for those who may not often have the chance to get out and socialise.
Bringing people together in this way reflects what we stand for as a mutual society: putting people first and supporting our neighbours and community. It’s about more than financial services; it’s about helping to build a stronger, more connected community.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Rotary Club of Stafford Knot, the volunteers and all those who contributed their time and energy to create such a special day.
