We were approached by a broker who was looking to place a case for their clients who had converted a former steel framed barn. They had installed a new timber frame and cladded the property externally with aluminium and composite millboard.
With the property being converted to a high specification and receiving an EPC rating of A, we were able to refer the property on the Society’s surveyors to see if it was suitable security. With the newly converted barn benefiting from the relevant certification and warranties we were able to lend.
