An Agreement in Principle (AIP), also known as a certificate or a Decision in Principle, confirms that we would be prepared to lend you the amount you have requested. There is no charge and no obligation to apply for a mortgage once you have an AIP with us.
It is not a guarantee because it’s subject to proof of income as well as any references we request and a valuation of the property (although if you are buying a home, you can still get an AIP before you’ve found a property).
YOUR MORTGAGE IS SECURED ON YOUR HOME, WHICH MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP THE MORTGAGE REPAYMENTS. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING OTHER DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME
We only offer our own products. All our residential mortgages are regulated and therefore subject to the FCA regulations' requirements.
