Stafford Railway Building Society is celebrating after receiving top marks in its latest member satisfaction survey!
Some 1,000 members were chosen at random for the poll and an exceptional 99% were both happy with how staff dealt with their needs and also how their account operates.
Nearly 99% of members would recommend the Society to family and friends and overall member satisfaction was 98% – while 100% of members who visited the branch long established in Stafford’s Market Square were happy with its facilities.
Additionally, there was 98% satisfaction with information provided, which indicates that all support material and literature matches the expectations and needs of the member base.
Society chief executive, Susan Whiting, says: “We’re delighted with the response to the 2014 survey, as I know people must feel they are bombarded with such things these days, plus we’re absolutely thrilled that our valued members think we’re doing a great job both looking after them and their financial interests.
“They understand and value the importance the Society places on mutuality, which means the Society is owned by its members and we don’t pay out dividends to shareholders, and allows us to provide consistently competitive mortgage and savings rates.
“Our long standing position in the locality shows we’re really appreciated in our Staffordshire heartland, but also increasingly further afield – and both are influenced by the consistently high levels of personal recommendation by members to family and friends.
“It’s also very gratifying to have such positive feedback about the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff, with many adding it’s our level of personal service that sets us apart. I know it means such a lot to the team and, rest assured, we are working through all comments made to see if there are any ways in which we can make improvements.”
